My Ocarina of Time remake footage starts with the Switch 2 in handheld mode, then moves to docked gameplay with a frame-rate overlay. There's no spoken commentary in this one, just a look at the game running in both modes. The handheld section is filmed off the screen; the docked section is labeled 4K output with a lossless capture and FPS overlay.
- Handheld: filmed from the Switch 2 display, starting at 0:15. There isn't a visible FPS counter in this section, so no handheld frame-rate measurement here.
- Docked: starts at 3:23. Overlay samples mostly read 60.0 FPS, with brief readings in the 50s.
- A black transition at about 6:45 briefly shows 24.0 FPS on the overlay. That's not a sustained gameplay result.
- 4K is the labeled docked output, not a measurement of internal rendering resolution.
What the footage shows
| Part | Capture shown |
|---|---|
| Handheld (0:15–3:22) | Camera view of the Switch 2 screen, labeled handheld campaign footage |
| Docked (3:23–8:18) | Labeled docked 4K output / 4K lossless capture, with FPS and frame-time graphs |
| Recording date on the banners | Nov 5, 2026; the video was published Nov 6 |
No settings menu, internal-resolution measurement or upscaling method is shown. This is a gameplay look, not a settings guide or a full-game benchmark.
Handheld
The handheld footage follows Link through the village, wooded paths and an interior before moving out into the open field. The camera view shows the full device, so it's useful for seeing the game on the handheld display rather than only looking at a direct capture.
There's no visible frame-rate overlay in this section. I haven't put an FPS figure on handheld or carried the docked readings over to it.

Docked: 4K output and frame-rate readings
The docked capture covers the village, a tree interior, the Gohma encounter, the open field and town. The red banner identifies it as docked 4K output. That describes the output and capture setup; it doesn't establish that the game renders natively at 4K.
Checking the visible overlay at two-second intervals through the docked section, most samples read 60.0 FPS. There are occasional 59.0 readings, a 57.0 around the Gohma introduction and a 55.0 sample near a transition. Those are samples of the video's overlay, not an independently calculated average or a claim that every frame stays at 60.

A transition to keep separate
At about 6:45, the picture goes black between shots and the overlay briefly reads 24.0 FPS. It then returns to the Gohma scene, reading 56.0 at 6:46 and 60.0 at 6:47. Because the low reading happens on a black transition, it shouldn't be treated as a sustained combat frame rate. It's worth showing rather than calling this a completely locked 60.

Open field and town
The later docked footage moves into the open field and then town. The selected frames below both show 60.0 FPS on the overlay. Alongside the handheld footage, they give a look at the image in each mode without assuming a handheld frame rate or an internal resolution that wasn't measured.
