Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is coming to GeForce NOW at launch, and it's the big one this week. Activision and Infinity Ward's new entry brings a new campaign, multiplayer and DMZ, the high-stakes extraction mode, to supported devices. It's a new release on Oct. 23, available in the Call of Duty app.
The campaign has you fighting as Private Park, a young South Korean soldier facing live combat for the first time, with missions in Korea, New York, Paris and Mumbai, while Captain Price operates outside the system he once served. Multiplayer has a dozen core 6v6 maps, and DMZ sends players into contested territory to recover valuable technology and decide when to get out.
For Ultimate members, NVIDIA says the campaign supports ray tracing in the cloud with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance across PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, browsers and supported TVs, with downloads and installs handled by GeForce NOW.
Memberships through Amazon on Fire TV
The other headline is for the living room. Existing supported Fire TV Stick users can now buy one-month Performance or Ultimate memberships directly through Amazon with their existing account, as the feature rolls out. Transactions go through Amazon's billing system, so GeForce NOW on a Fire TV Stick goes from plug-in, to purchase, to play.
