Quick answer: Bazzite's testing branch now supports the ROG Xbox Ally X20 with VRR, HDR, TDP control, mappable back buttons and sleep working, while RGB and fan control still need work. The Acer Predator Atlas 8 gets its first button mapping.

Bazzite now has ROG Xbox Ally X20 support on its testing branch, and the team is asking X20 owners to help track down the remaining issues. Developer Andy10115 shared the status in a post on the Universal Blue forum on October 22.
A lot is already working on the X20. The display has full support, including VRR and HDR. TDP control works, though custom TDP still needs some investigation. The back buttons are fully mappable, and sleep and wake have worked well in the team's testing, with a request to capture logs if anything goes wrong.
Two things still need work. RGB lighting support is expected with upcoming drivers from the OGC, and fan control will eventually be handled through OGUI plugins, like Bazzite's other devices. Until then, the post says Decky plugins such as Panel de Control may offer a workaround.
Acer's Predator Atlas 8 is also getting its first commits. Initial button mapping means it can be used for games, and holding the Guide and QAM/Predator buttons next to the screen opens the side menus. Tap functionality needs upstream drivers, which are already being worked on. The M1 and M2 buttons and the gyroscope don't work yet.
Testers can switch to the testing or unstable channel through the Bazzite Portal app or the terminal. The team strongly recommends pinning your current working deployment first as a fallback, and asks that every report come with a GitHub issue and logs.
