Quick answer: Blaze Entertainment's Evercade Nexus retro handheld launched October 30 in the US and Europe for $199.99, with a Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie cartridge in the box.

The Evercade Nexus, Blaze Entertainment's newest cartridge-based retro handheld, went on sale October 30 in the US and Europe. It's $199.99 in the US, £169.99 in the UK and €199.99 in Europe, and it's sold at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Funstock and other Evercade retailers.

Every Nexus comes with the Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack, one physical cartridge that holds Rare's Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. That cartridge is also sold on its own for $29.99. The box includes a USB-C to USB-A cable and a quick start guide, but no wall charger. Evercade says it needs a 5V 2A charger.
The Nexus has a 5.89-inch 840x512 IPS screen rated at over 500 nits, the biggest screen on any Evercade so far. The larger design adds dual analog sticks, which Blaze says are there for 64-bit and 32-bit games. Inside is a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and a 5000mAh battery rated for more than five hours. It also has WiFi 6 for system updates, front-facing stereo speakers, wireless headphone support and a customizable RGB logo. It measures 215 x 111 x 34mm and weighs 410g.
A new feature called EverSync lets two Nexus owners play the same game together, each on their own screen. It connects console to console without WiFi, and only one player needs the cartridge. TATE mode for vertical arcade games is back too.
The Nexus plays existing Evercade cartridges, and Blaze says more than 80 cartridges with over 700 games have come out since 2020. A hard shell carry case that holds six cartridges and a screen protector kit are sold separately. A Funstock-exclusive 64 Edition, limited to 2,000 units, is already sold out.
