Intel has another Arc graphics driver out, and the release notes for WHQL driver 32.0.101.9150 claim some big gains on Lunar Lake. According to PC Gamer, Intel lists a 31% average fps uplift in Resident Evil Requiem at 1080p medium on Core Ultra 2 (Lunar Lake) integrated Arc graphics, and 29% at 1080p high.
Lunar Lake also gets an 18% boost in Assassin's Creed Shadows and 11% in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, both at 1080p high, plus a few smaller gains. Panther Lake (Core Ultra Series 3) integrated graphics get a more modest 5% in F1 25 at 1080p medium, and Arc B-series desktop cards pick up 6% in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Monster Hunter Rise at 1440p high.
These numbers come from Intel's own release notes, not independent testing. The driver is available now from Intel.
My take: Lunar Lake is the chip in the MSI Claw 8 AI+, so this is one Claw owners will want to grab. Intel's drivers have really kept improving, but these are Intel's numbers, so I'd want to see how they hold up in actual gameplay before getting too excited.
