Quick answer: ASUS ROG said the Xbox Ally X20 can be bought alone in Singapore for S$2,099, instead of only the S$3,599 bundle with ROG Xreal R1 Edition 20 glasses. Pre-orders start November 16, with general availability in December.
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 is no longer Singapore-only as a glasses bundle. HardwareZone and Geek Culture report ASUS ROG will sell the handheld on its own for S$2,099. That compares with the earlier S$3,599 bundle that paired the X20 with the ROG Xreal R1 Edition 20 AR glasses for ROG's 20th-anniversary push.
Pre-orders start November 16, with general availability from December. HardwareZone and Geek Culture say ASUS Online Store and ASUS Exclusive Store at Funan pre-orders include a ROG SAGA OMNI Plush Pal (listed at S$54.90) while stocks last.
The Ally X20 keeps the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, 24GB LPDDR5X and a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD, with an 80Wh battery. Versus the Ally X, it adds a 7.4-inch Full HD ROG Nebula HDR OLED at 120Hz, drift-resistant TMR joysticks, and the black-and-gold 20th-anniversary finish. Geek Culture also notes up to 1400 nits HDR brightness, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1400, Dolby Vision, FreeSync Premium Pro, upgraded impulse rumble triggers and a rotatable D-pad.
