Quick answer: The RTX 5080, including partner cards, no longer appears on NVIDIA's US Marketplace, leaving the RTX 5070 Ti as the fastest GPU listed. A leaker says a 24GB RTX 5080 could arrive in December or January, which NVIDIA hasn't confirmed.

The GeForce RTX 5080 is no longer listed on NVIDIA's US Marketplace. Redditors spotted the change, and VideoCardz and PC Guide reported it on October 30. Founders Edition cards had been out of stock for a while, but now the partner cards are gone too. PC Guide says that leaves the 16GB RTX 5070 Ti as the fastest graphics card you can buy through NVIDIA's US store.
This follows the RTX 5090, which disappeared from the same Marketplace earlier this month. VideoCardz says the 5090 briefly came back with one model at $5,599 before that listing was removed as well. NVIDIA has said the 5090 isn't discontinued.
Pricing was already rough. On October 28, VideoCardz found the cheapest verified RTX 5080 at $1,979.99, about double its $999 MSRP, and a Hardware Unboxed survey put GPU prices up about 35% in three months.
A replacement may be coming. Chinese leaker ChannelGate says a 24GB RTX 5080 is expected around January, possibly as early as December, replacing the 16GB model and the China-only RTX 5090D v2 in that region. VideoCardz adds that NVIDIA has reportedly cleared its remaining RTX 5080 16GB GPU inventory, with existing stock expected to last about two more months. NVIDIA hasn't announced a 24GB model, and PC Guide says there's no word on a launch outside China.
A missing listing doesn't confirm production has ended. PC Guide found the RTX 5080 still listed on NVIDIA's UK Marketplace, though with little to no stock.
