Quick answer: Best Buy has open-box ROG Xbox Ally X units from $789.99 versus $1,000 new, per IGN, and Lenovo has the Z1 Extreme Legion Go S with SteamOS (32GB/1TB) at $949.99 with code DEALDAYSLIVE, per 9to5Toys.
Two handheld deals showed up today, both well under what these devices have been selling for lately. Prices are as reported on October 29 and can change.

Best Buy has open-box ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X units (Ryzen Z2 Extreme, 24GB of RAM, 1TB SSD) for less than the $1,000 retail price, according to IGN. A "Fair" condition unit is $789.99, "Good" is $819.99 and "Excellent" is $849.99. IGN says these are Geek Squad verified units with a 15-day return policy, and Excellent units may still have most or all of the original warranty. The Ally X has the same internal hardware as the newer $1,299.99 Xbox Ally X20, which adds a bigger OLED screen.

Lenovo has the SteamOS version of the Legion Go S with the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for $949.99 with promo code DEALDAYSLIVE at checkout, per 9to5Toys. That model launched at $900 and later rose to $1,580 during recent price hikes. 9to5Toys says this is the lowest price it has tracked for it in recent months, $50 under the $999.99 Best Buy deal from earlier this month. It has an 8-inch 120Hz display with VRR.
